Responsibilities

Ultimate Staffing is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Legal Assistants, Paralegals, and Intake Coordinators to support our legal clients throughout the Metro Detroit area. These positions vary in schedule, location, and compensation depending on client needs. This is a general application for current and future openings. Candidates with strong legal administrative skills and client service experience are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, document drafting, and legal research
  • Manage client intake calls and gather necessary case information
  • Maintain and organize legal files, records, and correspondence
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and agencies
  • Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of legal filings
  • Support billing and timekeeping processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal support role (law firm or legal department)
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and professional demeanor
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
